тогда стрелкой влево/вправо — то, что нужно.

Имелось в виду следующее: запускаешь MC, заходишь в меню Настройки -> конфигурация и ставишь там галку апротив: «Использовать навигацию в стиле lynx». Тогда по нажатию стрелки влево (<-) будешь попадать в директорию на уровень выше.

Не, это называется приобретённый рефлекс =)

Это хорошо на обычной клавиатуре. На ноутбуке приходится нажимать еще одну клавишу. Неудобно, короче. Мне бы тоже что-нибудь типа макросов как в FARe интересно было бы.

лично мне проще написать:

cd .. и нажать Enter
