Проблемма установки dr. nVidia 0

имеется: kernel 2.6.11.6 & OS LinuxMandriva 2005 (KDE 3.3.2 с част. поддержкой kde 3.4);

Drivers NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8178-pkg1.run

которые я пропатчил, как и предлагалось, (patch -p0 < NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-6629-1201042.diff) предварительно распаковав.

но патч мне явно не помог!))

правда если честно… то я знаком с linux всего неделю))) может там все и просто :-)

при установке дров NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.0-0310-pkg1.run, которые я и не пытался патчить, происходит кажется аналогичная вещь:
